Since I acquired a film camera earlier this year, I wanted to try cross-processing. So our trip to Australia was the perfect opportunity to put Rollei Crossbird into the Mamiya 6 and see what happens.
Cross-processing is basically developing film purposely the wrong way, meaning with chemicals that are not intended for this sort of film. Rollei Crossbird is a slide film and would normally be developed in E-6 chemicals. But when cross-processing, C-41 chemicals are used. This leads to interesting color effects in the picture, that most people these days only know from Instagram filters.
All pictures are taken with a Mamiya 6 and a 75mm lens. Developed by a local lab in Seoul, Fotomaru.com, scanned with Epson V700, and basic adjustments in Lightroom.
